As a Shadow Seeker, you’ll track supernatural manifestations across the grid, earn Shadow Points, and rise through the ranks to unlock classified Ghost Files: terrifying cases where the spirits are very real, highly aggressive, and deadly.

Step 1: Purchase a Shadow Seekers token or token bundle of your choice.
Step 2: Read the setup instructions and rez tokens around your land.
Step 3: Shadow Seekers tokens expire at the end of their timer, but the timer will not start counting down until the Shadow Seekers: The Ghost Files gridwide game starts on October 3, 2026.
Step 4: Enjoy the players roaming your land and discovering everything it has to offer!

The Ghost Orb tokens will last 24 hours once rezzed & cost L$350 each.

LOCATION SETUP AND RULES
Step 1: After unpacking, rez the item called “Landing Point” where you would like Players to land. This will allow your land to be registered with the game as a location.
Step 2: Rez your tokens on your land. Please make sure you hide them where players can access them. If they are on a different platform or level, please make sure there is a public teleporter available.
Step 3: Get ready for the players! 😀 Remember that the Shadow Seekers: The Ghost Files Gridwide Game begins October 3rd and November 1st is the last day of the to play.
NOTE: Players will be able to find your tokens once every 24 hours for the tokens that last longer than a day.
• Do not hide the objects inside cupboards or other closed items that can’t be opened by anyone! They need to be visible (when activated) and available for players to get close to them. While we want the players to search, we don’t want them frustrated.
• Please ensure the parcel where you hide your game object is set to public access or people will not be able to enter to find the hidden game objects.
• It is against the rules to make the players pay to enter a parcel or join a group to enter. If a location like that is reported to us, we will deactivate any game objects on that parcel until this issue is remedied
• Please Note: Repeated complaints about a sim or parcel using banning or security orbs excessively can result in MadPea removing that location’s ability to participate in our gridwide games.
• Make sure your parcel has scripts enabled FOR EVERYONE or otherwise the game objects and the radar will not work correctly for the players. Please, remember that scripts being enabled for group members (and therefore working for you) does not mean our players will be able to use their radar correctly!
• Please note that the game objects & packages are no copy, so be careful when rezzing. It’s often tricky on mesh surfaces, and it’s good to rez a regular prim first to rez your game objects on. If you lose your objects due to ‘Unable to rez,’ it usually comes back to your inventory after a relog.
• Once the gridwide game has started, pay attention to the duration time of the game objects, as they will vanish after their time is up. You can check how much time is left by clicking the object; the time left will be in the menu dialog. (This information will not look correct before the gridwide game starts.) Your game object will also send you a message when it expires. This also means if you rez a game object and then pick it back up into your inventory, the timer has started and will continue to count down, as well as show as a registered item on your sim/parcel. Do not rez a game object unless you are certain you will keep it out
